Can I use CopyCatch today?
CopyCatch is in pre-launch. You can run a Free check on any Etsy listing now, join the waitlist to get the Secret seller checklist and a launch email, or pre-order a plan: Seller at $12/mo (regularly $23) with a 16-day free trial, or Studio at $29/mo (regularly $49) with a 14-day free trial. Checkout is handled securely by Whop.
How does pre-ordering work?
You start a Whop membership at the pre-order price. Your free trial starts right away and you are billed the pre-order price only after the trial ends. When the app opens we email you, and your plan is activated when you sign in with the same email. You can cancel any time from your Whop memberships.
Is the dashboard on this page real data?
No. It is an interactive, illustrative demo with made-up shops and listings to show how CopyCatch will work. We’re newly launched, so there are no customer numbers to show.
How does CopyCatch find copies?
Once a week we scan Etsy for listings that look like yours, using image matching on your listing photos. Possible matches show up side by side with a similarity score so you can decide what to do.
What access do you need to my Etsy shop?
Read-only access through Etsy’s official OAuth sign-in. CopyCatch reads your listings and photos to know what to protect. It cannot edit listings, process orders or message buyers.
Will CopyCatch file takedowns for me?
CopyCatch drafts takedown notices and counter-notice letters filled in with your listing details and evidence. You review and submit them yourself through Etsy’s intellectual property reporting process.
What is “dated proof of original work”?
CopyCatch keeps a timestamped record of your listings and photos as it first sees them. If someone files a false copyright claim against you, you have a dated history to support your counter-notice. A timestamp supports your case but is not, on its own, legal proof of authorship.
Is this legal advice?
No. CopyCatch is a monitoring and paperwork tool. For complex disputes, talk to a qualified intellectual property lawyer.
How does billing work?
Paid plans are billed monthly in USD through Whop, our payment partner. Payments are handled securely by Whop, including card payments and sales tax or VAT. Change plan, see receipts or cancel any time from Manage billing in the app, which opens your Whop memberships.
Can I cancel or delete my data?
Yes. Paid plans are monthly with no lock-in, and you can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
